We are pleased to once again be a partner of the Montreux Jazz Festival this year.
The 60th edition marks the festival’s long-awaited return to the 2m2c, which has been fully renovated in recent years. From July 3 to 18, audiences will enjoy performances by numerous artists in the venue’s legendary concert halls: the Auditorium Stravinski and the Montreux Jazz Lab (Miles Davis Hall). Montreux’s lakeside promenades will once again come alive with the festival’s various free stages and events.

Free VMCV Bus Lines
The following VMCV lines are free of charge during the Montreux Jazz Festival 2026 (from July 3 to 18):
- 201 (Vevey – Rennaz)
- 204 (Montreux Casino – Chailly P+R)
- N291 (Montreux Casino – Vevey)
Free travel hours
- Monday to Friday: from 6:00 p.m. until the end of service
- Saturday and Sunday: from 2:00 p.m. until the end of service
Additional VMCV Bus Services
Line 201 : Vevey – La Tour-de-Peilz – Montreux – Villeneuve VD – Rennaz
During the Montreux Jazz Festival, line 201 is reinforced and extended as follows:
- Additional buses operate between Vevey, gare and Montreux, Marché from 5:30 p.m.
In the Vevey–Montreux direction, these services run non-stop between Montreux, Vernex and Montreux, Marché. - Extended evening service operates between Vevey, funiculaire and Villeneuve VD, gare.
- Last departure from Montreux, Vernex towards Vevey at 3:53 a.m. on Sunday to Wednesday nights (inclusive).
- Last departure from Montreux, Vernex towards Vevey at 4:53 a.m. on Thursday to Saturday nights (inclusive).
Our line 201 takes you directly to the heart of the festival, with stops at:
- Montreux, Vernex
- Montreux, Centre des Congrès
- Montreux, Escaliers de la Gare
- Montreux, débarcadère
- Montreux, Marché
Please note: Due to the additional and extended services provided on line 201 during the Montreux Jazz Festival, line N290 will not operate during this period.
Line 204 : Montreux – Clarens – Chailly-Montreux (– Blonay)
During the Montreux Jazz Festival, line 204 is reinforced and extended as follows between Montreux and Chailly-Montreux:
- Extended service between Montreux, Casino and Chailly P+R.
- Last departure from Montreux, Vernex towards Chailly at 3:59 a.m. on Sunday to Wednesday nights (inclusive).
- Last departure from Montreux, Vernex towards Chailly at 4:59 a.m. on Thursday to Saturday nights (inclusive).
Line 204 provides easy access to the festival, with stops at :
- Montreux, Vernex
- Montreux, gare
Please note: Due to operational requirements, line 204 is split into two sections from 4:00 p.m. every day. Between Montreux and Blonay, passengers must change buses at Chailly P+R.
Passengers travelling to Blonay should use line N291 after the end of regular service.
Line N291 : Montreux, casino – Chernex – Blonay – St-Légier – Corseaux – Vevey
During the Montreux Jazz Festival, our N291 line operates every night as follows:
- Departures from Montreux, casino at 11:55 p.m., 1:03 a.m., 2:12 a.m. and 3:21 a.m. on Sunday to Wednesday nights (inclusive).
- Departures from Montreux, casino at 11:55 p.m., 1:03 a.m., 2:12 a.m., 3:55 a.m. and 5:12 a.m. on Thursday to Saturday nights (inclusive).
Catch our N291 line from the following stops:
- Montreux, casino
- Montreux, Marché
- Montreux, débarcadère
- Montreux, Vernex
- Montreux, Escaliers de la Gare
- Montreux, Centre des Congrès
Please note: Line N291 runs non-stop between Montreux, casino and Chailly-Montreux, Bonnettes. Passengers travelling to Chailly-Montreux should use line 204.
