What are these?
Ticket selling machines at some of our stops and in all our vehicles. At these terminals, you can buy your ticket using different ways of payment : VMCV card, debit/credit cards or Twint. You no longer need cash to buy your individual ticket and/or your Mobilis Day Card.

VMCV Card
What is it?
An electronic wallet to make your life easier when paying and buying tickets! Loaded with an initial transport credit of CHF 20, it allows you to buy Mobilis tickets and day passes at all VMCV ticket machines. You can then top up your card at any VMCV ticket machine (amounts accepted: 10, 20, 50 and 100).

When and where is it valid?
The VMCV Card can be used at all VMCV machines. However, it is not compatible with the machines of other transport companies (CFF, TPF, etc.).
How does it work ?
To pay for your trip with the VMCV Card :
- Choose your destination and adjust the category of your ticket,
- Apply your VMCV Card in the designated area to finalise the transaction.
- Reload your card
- Check your balance
- Define or modify your favourite route
Recharge the VMCV card
Once exhausted the VMCV card can be recharged at VMCV ticket machines. How can this be done?
- Select the menu VMCV card "Info / Recharge VMCV card"
- Select the amount the load on the card (CHF 10.- , 20.- , 50.- , 100.-)
- Place the card on the dedicated spot
The VMCV card is loaded and is ready to be used!
Consult the balance on the VMCV card:
- Select the menu VMCV card "Info / Recharge VMCV card"
- Place the card on the dedicated spot
- The card information will be displayed on the left of the screen.

SMS ticket
What is it ?
An ideal solution for occasional travellers who want to simplify their lives, whether for city bus tickets or even for day passes on the Riviera: buy your bus ticket by SMS!
No need to go to the cash machine, your purchase can be made directly from your phone.
This service is available on all types of phones (Swiss operators only). The purchase of your ticket by SMS will be charged directly to your phone bill or prepaid card. There are no additional charges, so you pay the same price as at a ticket machine.
When and where is it valid?
On the Riviera, the SMS ticket is available for journeys in the Mobilis 1 or 2 zones, namely zones 70, 73 and 77. It is also possible to buy an SMS ticket for zone 70, 73 or 77 + an adjoining zone (72 or 74).
How does it work?
To collect your SMS ticket, send the number of the desired zone(s) (up to 2 zones maximum) to 456.
- Add a J at the top of the SMS for a day pass (Example: J7377)
- Add an R at the end of the SMS for a reduced rate ticket (Example: 74R)
Terms and conditions of use
- The ticket must be purchased before boarding the vehicle. The user must ensure that they have received the confirmation SMS before boarding the vehicle.
- The traveller’s phone must be switched on during the entire validity of the SMS ticket. Only valid in the zones mentioned, maximum 2 zones.
- Only Swiss telephone operators (subscriptions and prepaid cards) allow access to this service.
- The terms and conditions of the telephone operator apply, the option to purchase paid services must be activated.

FAIRTIQ
What is it ?
The FAIRTIQ mobile app allows you to purchase your individual ticket or Mobilis day card in just a few clicks from your smartphone.
From your mobile app, you just need to activate the geolocation and it will automatically calculate the price of your journey. All you have to do is log out when you arrive at your destination.
Good to know, the app accumulates your tickets purchased during the day and offers you the price of the day pass once you have reached it.
How does it work?
- Download the FAIRTIQ app for free from the App Store or Google Play and create your account by indicating the desired payment method.
- Confirm the start of your journey in the app.
- Travel in Mobilis and throughout Switzerland by bus, train, metro, etc.
- Don’t forget to log off at the end of your trip!
The tickets available are individual tickets and day passes only. You can also enter your half-fare card and/or Mobilis card in the app so that it can calculate the correct cost of your journey (additional zones for example).

How does it work?
- Search for your bus schedule.
- Click on “Ticket from CHF x” on the CFF website or swipe left on the CFF mobile app.
- Confirm your details and payment method.
- Travel!
Terms of use
CFF e-tickets are personal and non-transferable and must be presented to the control staff at all times together with an identification card (ID and/or half fare).
E-tickets must be purchased before the start of the journey, with the departure time of the bus being decisive. The conditions for CFF e-tickets apply.
