VMCV x Septembre Musical

VMCV is pleased to once again be a partner of the Septembre Musical Montreux-Vevey festival in 2026, on the occasion of its 80th edition, taking place from September 9 to 18.

Founded in 1946, Septembre Musical is Switzerland’s oldest classical music festival after Lucerne and one of the Riviera’s flagship cultural events. Over the past eight decades, it has welcomed some of the most renowned artists and orchestras in the world, building an international reputation for artistic excellence.

For this landmark anniversary edition, the festival returns to the prestigious Stravinski Auditorium at the 2m2c after two successful years away from its traditional venue. Following the success of the Classic Lab concept, the 2026 programme brings together great classical music and innovative concert formats under the Classic & Lab banner.

Did you know? The auditorium was specially designed and built for the festival in the 1990s.

Audiences will have the opportunity to enjoy several concerts in this exceptional venue, as well as in other iconic locations throughout our region.
