Partnership VMCV - Le Festival international des Artistes de Rue

We are delighted to announce our new partnership with the International Street Artists Festival for its 30th edition, which will take place in the old town of Vevey from August 16th to 18th, 2024. This year, we are honored to participate in this iconic event that celebrates street art in all its forms in the streets of Vevey.

We are proud to support this event that celebrates cultural diversity and artistic expression. We strongly encourage you to take this opportunity to discover and support the street artists who enrich our community with their talent and passion.

Our trolleybus No. 815 proudly displays the colors of the Festival on line 201 of our public transport network.

The festival poster, created by artist Franck Bouroullec, who resides in La Tour-de-Peilz, features various characters and elements representative of the event. These are then separated and arranged in different ways to form the visual of trolleybus No. 815.

For three days, from Friday to Sunday, the streets of Vevey will come alive with artists from all over the world, offering diverse and captivating performances. Jugglers, mimes, actors, acrobats, fire breathers, clowns, and many others will entertain at various locations in the old town, notably on Scanavin Square, pulsating with creativity and artistic passion.

The highlight of this celebration will be the breathtaking show scheduled for Saturday evening around 11:00 PM. It will be a unique opportunity to experience immersive artistic performances, where the audience will act as the jury and can vote for their favorite acts throughout the three days. The votes will then be tallied for the award ceremony, taking place on Sunday at 5:30 PM at Scanavin Square, featuring the Public Prize to crown this festive weekend.
